Tai has a Bachelors of Science from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, where he studied natural science, landscape art, figure drawing and communication technology.

Tai was born and raised in Nevada County, and spent many of his formative years living in Asia. He recently relocated back to his hometown after residing in Washington and Hawaii.

He has two fantastic children who are 5 and 2. His son wants to be an air traffic controller when he grows up and his daughter is wild about animals.

Outside of art and technology, his passions include snowboarding, scuba diving, trashy science fiction and drawing.

He especially enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
